The Tung & Ngai Foundation Scholarship was born from a profound belief: the future of society lies in the hands of its youth. Established by the late Mr. TUNG Chao-Yu and Mdm. NGAI Chue-Jai, Lily, and anchored in the Tung family’s enduring legacy of public service and maritime history, we are dedicated to the conviction that education is a transformative force.

As China continues its rise on the global stage and the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macau Greater Bay Area emerges as a world-class hub for innovation, our mission is to ensure Hong Kong’s youth are prepared to lead in this new era. We cultivate talent that is not only academically accomplished but also possesses the cross-cultural competence, leadership resilience, and national cultural confidence to navigate a complex world.
