The Secretariat

The Tung & Ngai Foundation Scholarship is supported by the Tung & Ngai Education Foundation, a Board of Directors, an Executive Director (Scholarships), and a Scholarship Secretariat whose members are independent and authoritative experts with rich experience in education and philanthropy. The Board of Directors is responsible for the governance of the Scholarship, and the Executive Director (Scholarships) oversees its implementation.

Professor WONG Suk-Ying
Executive Director (Scholarship)

Professor Wong Suk-ying is Master of CW Chu College and Emeritus Professor of Sociology at The Chinese University of Hong Kong.

Beyond her notable contributions to research and pedagogy, Professor WONG possesses an extensive record of community service. Currently, she serves as a Council member of the Hang Seng University of Hong Kong and a member of the Research Council of Our Hong Kong Foundation since its inception. Formerly, she was a committee member of the ARC of the Council of the Hong Kong Examinations and Assessment Authority, a member of the Joint Committee on Student Finance of the Working Family and Student Financial Assistance Agency in Hong Kong, an External Examiner for the Nursing Council of Hong Kong, and a Subject Specialist for the Hong Kong Council for Accreditation of Academic and Vocational Qualifications.
