Scholarship Application Timeline for 2024

Embark on your educational journey with the Tung & Ngai Scholarship by following our timeline for the application and selection process:

  • March – April 2024:
    • Call for Applications: Applications open for first-year undergraduate students. Get ready to submit your application and take the first step towards an enriching academic experience.
    • Applicants are required to include a bilingual personal statement (in Chinese and English), records of their GPA and DSE results in their application.
  • June 2024:
    • University Nomination Process: Participating universities will convene a selection committee/panel to shortlist and nominate outstanding candidates for the final interview stage with the Foundation.
  • July 2024:
    • Selection Panel Review: The Tung & Ngai Foundation will establish a Selection Panel to evaluate and conduct interviews with the shortlisted candidates.
    • The interviews will be conducted on-site. Exception will only be made for applicants with solid justification.
  • August 2024:
    • Scholarship Award Announcement: Stay tuned as the successful scholarship recipients are announced.
  • September 2024:
    • Welcoming and Orientation: Mark the beginning of your Tung & Ngai Scholars journey with our orientation programme, designed to welcome you to our community.
    • Scholarship Disbursement: The awarded scholarship funds will be disbursed to the new Tung & Ngai Scholars by their respective universities.
